Help prevent costly slips and falls, especially on the leading edge of the stair, where most slips occur. Even in adverse conditions, when steps are wet, icy, or dirty, Safeguard Hi-Traction® and HiGlo-Traction® anti-slip step covers provide excellent footing, far exceeding OSHA standards.

These anti-slip step covers:

  • Wrap the leading edge and cover the proper depth for foot traffic to help eliminate slip and trip hazards
  • Are fabricated from durable, non-load-bearing base of FRP fiberglass
  • Feature a bull nose design with 1” vertical lip
  • Have a coarse (industrial) grade grit
  • Are ready to easily install over your steps
  • Are made in the USA

What can these be attached to?

Attachment over existing stair treads with substrates including metal, concrete, fiberglass, wood, steel & composite grating, and tile. They are compatible with our PATHWAY® 3G residential stairs, our PATHWAY® HD ADA stairs, and our FORTRESS® OSHA stairs.

How do the step covers attach to stairs?

Covers can be attached with adhesive, screws, or bolts depending on the application surface. The installation guide will walk through recommended attachment methods and material needed based on application surface.

Can the step covers be cut?

Should additional field cutting be necessary, Safeguard suggests using a diamond blade with appropriate PPE.
