Tips to Celebrate Family Fun Month!

August is Family Fun Month and boy oh boy do we have some fun ideas for you! The crew at EZ-ACCESS has compiled their favorite entertaining activities to do with their loved ones for this fantastic month. Check it out!

How to Celebrate Family Fun Month

Splish Splash

Have fun and stay cool with your family by playing in the water all day! Enjoy the pool, sprinkler, slip ‘n slide, and water balloons all in your backyard. Find an old tarp and throw a hose and dish soap on it to create your own slip ‘n slide if you don’t have one!

S’more Fun

Have a camp out at night with the kids and enjoy some yummy s’mores around the fire. Tell scary stories and see who can catch the most fireflies in a jar to make a bright lantern.

Search for Treasures

Throw a scavenger hunt for the kids to participate in with their friends or neighbors. Hide little goodies around with clue cards that describe where to go next. You can even make it into a treasure hunt if you want a prize at the end!

Off-roading Recreation

Take the family for a fun cruise down the trails or through the fields! The TRAVERSE™ Singlefold Edgeless Ramp is the perfect tool to help load your ATVs, dirt bikes, or other recreational vehicles into the back of your truck or trailer.

Movie Madness

Have a backyard movie night with a white sheet or garage door and projector. Create an ice cream buffet and popcorn station where you can add M&M’s, chocolate syrup, caramel, and other sweets. Throw blankets and pillows down to create a little comfy oasis before the film starts!

Rapid Races

Create teams out of your family and throw little competitions. See who is better at potato sack racing, Bocce Ball, bean bag toss, and more. Do timed sessions of each event to create excitement. It could be as simple as having a station to see who can throw a Frisbee the farthest, and then your child can run to the next station to potato sack race to the next challenge!

We hope that you love these ideas and try out a few with your family! For more information about our options to make those with limited mobility more independent, contact us today!
