Celebrating Longevity and Dedication: Honoring Three EZ-ACCESS® Employees

At EZ-ACCESS, we take immense pride in our team, and today we celebrate three remarkable employees who recently reached significant milestones in their careers with us. Michele M., Josien M., and Dwayne E. have each been with the company for 19 years, and their dedication and contributions have been instrumental to our success. We had the privilege of sitting down with them to reflect on their time here, and what keeps them motivated after nearly two decades.

Michele M.: From Manufacturing to Senior Billing/Invoice Clerk

Michele M. joined EZ-ACCESS on June 27, 2005, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Starting as a Packaging and Manufacturing Assistant, Michele worked her way up to become a Senior Billing/Invoice Clerk. Despite starting with limited computer skills and just a high school education, Michele’s perseverance, coupled with the guidance of her managers, enabled her to excel in accounting.

When asked what keeps her motivated, Michele says it’s knowing the impact of EZ-ACCESS products. "The products we build help people in need," she explains. Her favorite moments include the celebrations of breaking company milestones, and she holds a special place for the volunteer events, including a memorable Vertical Platform Lift installation and the Northwest Harvest outreach.

For Michele, EZ-ACCESS is more than a job; it’s been a journey of growth, both personally and professionally. She describes her overall experience in one word: Awesome.

Josien M.: A Dedication to Driving Company Success

Like Michele, Josien M. also celebrates 19 years with the company, having joined on July 5, 2005. Currently the Director of Corporate Administration, Josien has worn many hats at EZ-ACCESS, including Executive Assistant, Accounting Manager, and Staff Accountant. What keeps her going after all these years? The knowledge that her work helps the company’s leadership make informed decisions, ultimately benefiting end users who rely on EZ-ACCESS products for safe and reliable accessibility.

Josien fondly remembers the holiday gift baskets and annual company picnics as her favorite moments. She values the company’s commitment to fostering relationships and supporting its employees’ personal and professional growth. "EZ-ACCESS helps employees find their 'sweet spot' so both the employee and the company benefit," she says.

Josien feels that what sets EZ-ACCESS apart is that they’re still family-owned. She emphasizes how relationships and loyalty—both to employees and customers—are key to EZ-ACCESS' success. Josien sums up her experience with the word Dedicated.

Dwayne E.: Making a Difference, One Ramp at a Time

Since joining EZ-ACCESS on July 25, 2005, Dwayne E. has embraced the company’s mission wholeheartedly. As a Layout Designer II, Dwayne finds fulfillment in knowing that the products he helps create enable veterans and others to regain their independence. His favorite memory? A viral dance video filmed in the parking lot—an event that highlights the fun, family-like culture at EZ-ACCESS.

Dwayne’s advice for new employees is simple: "Put yourself out there. Be willing to be cross-trained. It will help you grow." He appreciates the company’s commitment to providing all the resources and training necessary to succeed, and the fact that the owners truly care about their employees.

For Dwayne, the experience of working with owners who value both their employees and customers has been Satisfying. He hopes that this culture of caring will endure as the company continues to grow and evolve.

A Legacy of Commitment and Care

Michele, Josien, and Dwayne’s stories reflect the heart of EZ-ACCESS—commitment, community, and care. Over the years, each of them has played a crucial role in driving the company forward while helping to improve the lives of countless individuals through our accessibility solutions. Their stories are a testament to the lasting relationships and shared values that make EZ-ACCESS a place where employees can grow and thrive. We are honored to have such dedicated individuals on our team and look forward to many more years of success together.

To Michele, Josien, and Dwayne—thank you for your unwavering dedication and for being an essential part of the EZ-ACCESS family!
